I travel over an hour to work each day and then another home. There have been times I have forgotten to charge my iPhone, iPod, Kindle, or netbook. This does it all! Super fast and small enough to carry in my work bag! Not sure how I did without it!

I have the old version of this device (no USB power). Mine also makes that whining sound, but rest assured, IT IS NOT GOING TO BREAK. I have been using it constantly for at least 2 years now and have put it through far more abuse that I thought it could take, but it just keeps going….and going….and going….

We have only used the product a couple of times, but it is definitely a keeper. It is a bit bulky, but given the room in the car, it is no big deal. The cooling fan makes some noise, but the car sounds generally drown out the noise. I would recommend this product. The price is especially attractive.

purchased this product to use in my van for my laptop
have used this product every day since i purchases it about a 6 weeks i was almost afraid to
use it with my laptop any way simple to use i pluged it in and it works great
have had no problems have not used with anything but laptop but dont
anticipate any problems great product also much cheeper than any
price seen in several stores great power source

Good product except for the built in cooling fan. I have used this product twice on 2 road trips that were not more than a 3 to 4 hour drive. The internal cooling fan is already starting to make whining noises and sound like the bearings are going out in it. It works but the noise that the fan generates is annoying and it sounds like it will break anytime.
